This is the first flat-screen HDTV, I have ever bought. I, like many others in search of high definition televisions, has a lot of research before you find 'The One'. I am extremely satisfied with this content as my first purchase. I am a little over two months and were held to benefit a lot from it already.
Right out of the box the TV looked not only large but had a strong feeling. It is a well designed TV and did not feel cheap or fragile. Other guests complainsome of the inputs on the side of the TV – there is no problem. There is enough of a gap between revenue and the edge of the TV, where no cable can be connected to the input side to be properly packed around and behind.
The picture quality is amazing. Playing PS3 and Xbox 360 via HDMI looks phenomenal. Blu-ray and the picture quality is amazing as well. I also have this thing double as a computer display via HDMI. There's a little ghosting on dark areas, but are notsurprised that this was not the intention to buy a gaming monitor for my computer, but it is surprising that Funny Games is on a screen this size. Watch streaming HD content from the Internet is too big. The fact that it is 1080p and 120Hz makes it look just spectacular here. There's really nothing wrong with the picture quality on this series to say. All Sony Bravia TV that I saw, I was impressed very satisfied with the quality.
Other built-in functions, I think, a nice compliment to the series. The menu functions are easy to use and navigate. There are lots of options to modify and edit that I think is a nice bonus. The remote is not bad. I have downloaded a firmware update from Sony, but the latest firmware from their site and installed myself. It was not difficult – online instructions to do this fairly easy to follow.
